IMS Working Group - Does IMS have a role in the modern, digital world

We pay friends by phone, buy a bus ticket by phone, and no longer need to go to a travel agent to book a holiday. If you aren’t -yet- at least our children are.

They use digital wallets on their phone, and it is easy to split the bill for a taxi fare or concert ticket, and think everything is handled just like that.

The tools and technology to deliver these journeys are often forgotten. And even if your business units want to re-imagine the customer experience, a lot of the company’s crucial data is still stored in IMS, and send across using the fastest, most reliable transaction management system.

As the demand for these technologies is higher than ever before, there are plenty of reasons to get together and discuss with experts and peers some aspects of the IMS backbone system that is a crucial player to make this possible.

We are proud that we are able present another great agenda. As we have done in the past, we alternate between sessions with user experiences, this year we found two users that are willing to share their experiences (!), and sessions about new developments and IMS best practices presented by leading IMS experts.

In the current era of digital workplace, online support systems, and webinar training, it is still important to keep communicating face to face.

So, we expect to see all of you at the Lindner Hotel, Antwerpen on 9 November 2017 for the annual IMS working group meeting.
